Two William Floyd High School sports teams – girls cross country and boys cross country – received the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar/Athlete Team Award for sustaining a collective grade point average (GPA) of 90 or higher throughout the fall sports season. Girls cross country, under the leadership of head coach Gil DeCicco and assistant coach Richard Sinclair, had a collective GPA of 97.67; the boys cross country team, under the leadership of head coach Ed Noll and assistant coach Matt Hansen, had a collective GPA of 95.39. Congratulations to the students and coaches on a job well done!
