To help kick off “Music in Our Schools Month” for the month of March, the William Floyd Music Department is holding its 32nd Annual Music Faculty Scholarship Concert at William Floyd Middle School on Tuesday, March 1 at 7 pm.
The Music Department holds various fundraisers throughout the school year – the largest being the Music Faculty Scholarship Concert – to help graduating seniors pursue their musical goals through scholarships. Last year alone, the department raised $4,500 in student scholarships.
